Architect: Cluck Design Collaborative
Project Location: Charlotte, NC
Project Completion Date: 2016
Short Description: Nestled in NODA’s historic fabric, Haberdish embodies our focus on detail, and creative problem solving. Just as the chefs serve ethical and local, southern inspired food, we designed the space to enhance the preexisting structure and quality elements. The industrial color palette contrasts the interior of washed brick and warm edison lights. The barn-style patio doors and expansive front windows promote a flow of both views and connection of interior to exterior space. The horizontal, beams continue from the restaurant interior to the patio pergola structure. Simple, functional details ornament the restaurant providing a welcoming, clean-cut ambiance for the customer.
Architect’s Statement: The design combined a desire for an indoor/outdoor dining experience, and for a modern, welcoming restaurant for refined, southern food with a twist.
