The American Institute of Architects North Carolina Chapter (AIANC) Firm of the Year Award is given to a North Carolina firm that has consistently produced quality architecture with a verifiable level of client satisfaction for a period of at least 10 years as an established presence in this state. This award is the highest honor the Chapter can bestow upon a firm. This year, AIANC was pleased to present the Firm of the Year Award to Cline Design Associates.
With offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, Cline Design Associates is committed to providing quality architectural, interior design, and planning services, as is demonstrated through their 30th Year Anniversary in 2019. The firm has more than 90 employees, of which include over 30 registered architects, and have won countless design and community appearance awards since its founding.
At Cline Design, they are dedicated to creating a better community through the integration of architecture, planning, landscape architecture and interior design. They recognize that our success is not only dependent upon great design, but also the positive experience a client gains from working with them. It is Cline Design’s belief that through the integration of services they can more effectively discover, generate, and implement design solutions that celebrate the uniqueness of each site.
Their philosophy is set in providing practical, economically viable and environmentally responsible design. Through collaboration with their clients, they create diverse, interactive, high quality environments; places that encourage people to interact, and build a sense of community.
“They are very approachable and they listen to what you are saying. They are very responsive to what you are trying to do. A lot of architects get locked in on what they’re designing and really don’t want to change it, and a lot of developers are the same way. But we have a really great relationship and experience with Cline Design, I enjoyed working with the whole group, they are a great bunch of architects” said Thomas “Randy” Bates of Randolph Development.
